Gary Vère in his office at AOB
We spoke to Gary Vère of VèreNorth Design and Print about his exciting design business, future plans and what it's like working from AOB.....
How did you start your company?
VèreNorth Design and Print was born off the back of my previous business which was a web & print agency in Stockport, I decided that I had done designing websites and wanted to go back to what I enjoyed most, being a graphic designer and printer.
What are you working on at the moment?
I work on such a lot of projects, I have clients all over the country, from London to North Wales, my most exciting news is my newest client, which has me designing for a private London clinic and their sister clinic in Harley Street, I do a lot of NHS work, my longest standing client is Health Innovation Manchester, their projects are always varied, I am in the process of designing bespoke wall coverings and graphics for their new offices at City Labs Manchester. I am also very heavily involved with networking and deal with many local and prominent businesses in the Tameside and Oldham area.
What projects & ambitions do you have for the future of your company?
As I mentioned earlier working with clients in London and Harley Street is a big project for VereNorth moving forward, I have also just taken on a Restaurant Group based in Manchester City Centre and I am hoping to expand into an Estates franchise, I do work for several of the offices but my goal is to be working with all 42 offices in the Northwest in the next 12 months. Jo my wife will be a full time member of staff soon, so that will keep me in check. Staff is the next logical step for VereNorth, we just keep getting bigger, “Never Say Never”…
What do you like about AOB?
Everything… the relaxed atmosphere, the funky architecture, the fabulous girls on reception, the residents I meet and talk to when making a coffee, the place is an awesome and cool building to base my offices, I couldn’t think of anywhere in Tameside that offers so much, especially being a Design Company, the fit is perfect.
