Happy Birthday, Digital Flamingo! 🎉🎂

Today, my little business turns 8, and wow, what a journey this last year has been! It’s honestly been my busiest yet- a bit of a blur – but that’s a sign that Digital Flamingo is only growing stronger.

This year took me further afield, even delivering training in London, while working more 1-to-1 with businesses and hosting my own open workshops (finally launching my Content Creation Parties was a dream come true)! 🙌

A major milestone was becoming a Member of the CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing, reflecting my commitment to bringing the best to my clients. I also attended the Great British Entrepreneur Awards as a finalist and was recently named a finalist for the Great British Businesswoman Series Awards! 💪 Not to mention the honour of judging at the Pride of Tameside Business Awards.

But most of all, it’s been about the work – strengthening social media for long-time clients and new ones alike, keeping up with (so many!) platform changes, and showing up more on social media myself.

A massive thank you to my incredible support system: my husband (who’s been dragged to all sorts of events), my mom (still my biggest cheerleader), and all my clients, old and new. Watching businesses grow and confidence bloom has been such a rewarding part of this journey.

It hasn’t been without challenges – there were moments I doubted making it this far, and imposter syndrome still sneaks in. But writing this has reminded me how far I’ve come, and how grateful I am for the amazing people I’ve met along the way.

What’s next? Well, things are about to look a little different around here… I’ve been working on something exciting behind the scenes and can’t wait to share it soon. 😉
