Today we showed a lovely group from Ashton United Reform Church around AOB. Most of the group actually used to swim here so it was a nostalgic trip down memory lane and for those who hadn’t visited before, they really enjoyed the visit! 
We learnt a new fact today about Basket rooms……
Years ago, baskets were given to groups of school children to hold their clothes whilst they went for a swim – who knew???
