We recently met a lovely lady who informed us about her great uncle Tommy, who was a life guard here at AOB in the 60’s & 70’s……….. now we are delighted to share some pictures of Tommy, who was born in 1912 and sadly passed away in 1995.
Thomas McHardy (Tommy) worked at the baths for many years until 1975 when he moved to what was the new baths.
The pictures of Tommy are him showing his gifts and when he was presented at his retirement.
Does anyone remember Tommy?
