adi Life Sciences

adi Life Sciences was established in July 2023 and provides specialist design and construction services to the pharmaceutical, healthcare, and life sciences industries.

With backing from adi Group, a small, experienced team—who had worked together previously—came together to launch the Life Sciences division. Drawing on a strong background in the sector, the team quickly established a presence in the market. Over the past two and a half years, the business has grown to a team of 30, delivering projects across the UK.

Why we started
The company was founded to meet a growing demand for high-quality, compliant, and efficient design and construction solutions within highly regulated environments. By combining technical expertise with a collaborative approach, adi Life Sciences set out to support clients in delivering complex projects safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

What we’re working on
Currently, adi Life Sciences is delivering a range of projects across the UK, including:

• A new manufacturing line for a wound care company in South Wales
• A refurbishment of a facility in Hull, housing laboratories for the development of advanced treatments for opioid use disorders
• The refurbishment of a facility in Grangemouth focused on the development, clinical, and commercial-scale manufacturing of bioconjugates
• The design of a new area within an existing building for use in developing breakthrough optical and photonic technologies

These projects highlight the team’s capability to work across diverse areas of the life sciences sector, from research and development through to full-scale manufacturing.
