Halloween at AOB!
AOB had a spooktacular 👻Halloween this year! With a Pumpkin competition – Best Carved prize went to Jack Bodo Möller Chemie & Silliest Pumpkin prize went to Jack SPL Fire Safety Ltd – Fire Engineering & Fire Safety Management ….. we enjoyed tasty pumpkin treats courtesy of Brianna Digital Flamingo and our very own Lisa dressed as a lovely witch for the day to keep the residents in check 🧙🤣

Samuel Laycock School – Work Experience
Over the last few weeks we welcomed pupils from Samuel Laycock School, Ashton part of the New Bridge Multi Academy Trust schools, Horizons & Future Finders for their work experience – Jacob, Elise, Adeel and Tahnia spent time with us learning about AOB – the history, regeneration & also touched on the daily running of the Centre!

Happy Birthday Digital Flamingo!
Today, my little business turns 8, and wow, what a journey this last year has been! It’s honestly been my busiest yet- a bit of a blur – but that’s a sign that Digital Flamingo is only growing stronger.
Ashton Old Baths inspires young people with future career options
In the 2023/2024 academic year, Ashton Old Baths invited schools across Oldham and Tameside to visit the centre for a Workplace Safari offering young people an experience of the workplace.
Fairynuff band records at AOB in 1983
A member of the public has kindly gifted AOB with some fantastic cuttings from a book which highlights a local band, Fairynuff. The band recorded two songs at ‘U-Turn Studios’, situated in the boiler room at AOB in 1983!
The songs were called Hombre & Static and part of this venture was accomplished musician, recording artist & composer Graham Satterwaite
