International Coworking Day, celebrated annually on 9th August, honours the founding of the first recognised coworking space in 2005 and promotes the benefits of shared, flexible workspaces. It celebrates community, collaboration, and networking, aiming to reduce the loneliness of remote work while fostering innovation among freelancers, entrepreneurs, and small businesses.
